AirQ 112 is a battery powered and datalogger sensor for humidity. It’s the best solution for monitoring of the products that are transported and handled away from the AirQ Networks receiving stations. Its flexibility allows to place datalogger directly where there is need to control humidity percentage.

1 Wireless:  no wiring, no change for existing installation. Just put it wherever you need.

2 Web controlled: thanks to web oriented AirQ Networks architecture, all AirQ sensors are web accessibile.

3 Datalogger: the sensor can store data when is out of AirQ control unit radio range.

4 Battery powered: AirQ 112 is a battery powered wireless sensor. The battery is user replaceable.

5 Mobile ready: AirQ Networks web platform it’s fully compatibile with iPhone, Andorid and Windows Mobile devices.

6 SMS (text message) and E-Mail alarms: thanks AirQ Rule System it’s possibile to define alarms that start when a user defined event occurs. Alarms can be also sent by SMS (text message) and E-Mail without using additional device.

7 No programming required: AirQ 112 sensors works just out of the box, without any particular technical skills.

8 Flexible and powerful rule system: AirQ 112 sensors can be used with the flexible AirQ Networks graphical rule system. Just design your application and put it to work: they do all dirty work!

9 Installation: Just leave the sensor anywhere you want: no installation is needed!

AirQ 112 can be used in a unlimited number of applications. Being a flexible tool, it can be adapted to different usages and contexts. The AirQ graphical Rule System allows user to design its application and define how system react to particular humidity value. AirQ 112 can be successufully used to monitoring humidity of anything where is transported away from AirQ control unit station.

What is the maximum distance between sensors and control units or range extenders?

There isn’t a fixed rule that states what is the maximum distance between sensors and control units. Maximum distance is related to the environment where sensors are placed. In closed spaces a distance higher then 50 meters is typically achievable. In open spaces maximum distance can be extended up to 500 meters and more. Using range extender the operative range can be extended as needed. At the end, some noisy devices (motors, high inductive devices, other wireless devices operating on 433Mhz) can reduce operative distance of sensors.

As rule of thumb, we suggest to test the effective position of sensors and control units before to do final installation. It’s really common to obtain better RF performances simply changing devices position of some centimeters.

How often loggers store humidity?

AirQ 12X loggers are designed to reduce battery consumption and give the best accuracy of measurement in the same time. All AirQ 12X sensors are programmed to work in a double mode:

  • If humidity is stable, sensor stores data every 8 minutes.
  • If humidity change more then ±0.5°C, sensor will store humidity in about 4 minutes.

If you need an higher detection frequency, please contact AirQ Networks customer service.

How to install?

Every AirQ 1XX can be installed directly where needed as long as operating temperature is respected. For example, an AirQ 112 humidity sensor can be placed inside a frozen room if humidity is higher or equal then -30°C up to +85°C. Using enclosures with flange, sensor can be applied to walls or fixed surfaces using screws.

How long does it takes to send data to control unit?

Dataloggers are designed to check if a control unit is in its operative range every 15 minutes. If datalogger detects a control unit, it starts to send all registered data.

What does it mean that a datalogger stores 'at least' 15 days of data?

There are several factor that influence how many data a datalogger can store in its internal memory. Some of these are:

  • Humidity stability
  • Environment humidity
  • Status of battery

Dataologger are designed to guarantee at least 15 days of continuous acquisitions with these condition:

  • Humidity change really often (> +/- 0.5°C in less then 4 minutes)
  • Environment humidity over -15°C
  • Battery in good condition
Can datalogger be placed inside transport container?

AirQ Networks technology allows datalogger to placed directly where needed as long operative temperature range is respected (-30°C < temp < +85°C).

This means that datalogger can’t be placed inside dry ice boxes. If needed, AirQ 121EXT datalogger can be used to register humidity of dry ice boxes.

Are sensors calibrated? Is it possibile to obtain calibration certificate?

All AirQ Networks sensor are calibrated by AirQ Networks and they guarantee declared precision for at least 1 year.

Moreover, AirQ Networks can provide calibration certificate if needed. Please contact customer service.
